Rescuing Fruits & Vegetables Project - Getting to Know the Community

This first event is designed to let the attendees and their organizations know about us, what we are doing, and to find out specifically what works for them, what they need and how we can help them to be more efficient.  The initial overall goal is to effectively use surplus fruits & vegetables that currently goes to waste by assisting farmers, hiring help, and assisting them with transportation, refrigeration, and storing and salvaging the food.  Once we understand their needs, we'll provide connections, training and funding through the Rescue Fruits and Vegetables Project.

Our Pilot Program will be starting in Alabama, and will expand systematically throughout the US and Globally.

Our first event is March 31st, specifically for those in agriculture (colleges, farmers and growers, food banks and coops, etc).

This event will be  held at the Greater Shiloh Missionary Baptist Church in Birmingham Alabama, by invitation only.
